“Whats with the beard?”
This is the question I’m asked by everyone that I have run into over the past month. My response? I’m playing Saddamn Hussein in the Fringe Festival in a new musical called The Deciders. Of course, everyone think it’s hysterical. Of course, I happen to agree, and I’m someone who is not afraid of making a fool of myself if it will get a laugh. While everyone thinks that me playing Saddam Hussein is funny, I take advantage of the opportunity to hand out our postcard and tell them about this exciting new musical. I am a walking billboard for the show.
I am so blessed to have come across this project. I have been wanting to do something for so long to protest the war and what a better way to do it than to do it through my favorite art form, MUSICAL THEATRE! Jay Michaels, our director, said at the first read through, its basically an anti-war protest with a rehearsal process. I am so greatful to Mitch Kess for writing such a clever piece of theatre and giving a bunch of twenty somethings a chance and a platform to speak out against our current government.

I agree that we need some humor over this war. It is a clever piece that everyone she attend
The guy that plays Saddam is a dead ringer. I haven’t seen it yet. Most likely his talents match up to his looks. Sounds like a bunch of liberals gone wild. Has Bill O’Reilly seen this one?
I am looking forward to seeing you play this role. It takes a lot of guts to play the part of one of the most dispicable men in recent times.
