What Revolution?
The people love their leader, you don’t understand the system in Libya. There is no president, no monarch. There is no protests, where do you see protests? In any case no one will ever get past my 700 female bodyguards. And if we do all go down together I’m gonna party like it’s 1999.
–Qaddafi
P.S.: “all of this is because of the pills,” referring to the hallucinogens Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi insisted Al Qaeda has used to spike the milk and Nescafe of young Libyans.
Sorry we just can’t do another musical like that!
Or can we?
But first . . . we have a new musical about a revolution that’s closer to home. In New York City! (More soon)
