On the front page of the NYTimes yesterday but barely noticeable were two things. One was that Qaddafi was complaining that the rebels were destroying their air conditioning. The other thing was much less funny. It was reported that General Electric has developed the long awaited ability to create nuclear fuel by using Lasers. Not only does that make it more likely that nukes be widely embraced just as the opposition is most contentious but the possibility of terrorists getting the capability is just around the corner. If you believe in what they said about Atlantis, isn’t that how we blew it that time?
